What to pack for a 2 week vacation

Stephane and I travel light, only using a carry on. This doesn’t leave room for souvenirs. Sooo…. if you like to buy a bunch of stuff, this may not be for you. But, it is a great start. (I do bring a foldable “laundry bag” just in case)

We both travel with an iPad, iwatch and a phone. This list has chargers for them, but does not include chargers for cameras, batteries or miscellaneous other stuff personal to you.

Documents:

  • Passport

  • AirTag. (I put one in my wallet, and one in my luggage -just in case I am forced to check it)

Plugs etc

  • iPhone charger

  • iPad charger

  • Watch charger

  • 2 reading glasses (or contacts)

  • Car charger (if renting a car)

  • Car mount (if renting a car)

  • Car cable (if renting a car)

  • International plugs (Europe)

  • headphones- I bring plug in headphones for the plane. However on our last trip I a bought bluetooth relay for Stephane and he loved it. He was able to use his noise canceling airpod pros. Link here

Toiletries Etc

  • Laundry bag (I bring one that can double as a carry on in case I buy anything :)) Mine is an old Bangallini bag .

  • Razor

  • Hairbrush

  • Hair stuff/ gel

  • shampoo

  • conditioner

  • Claritin or allergy med

  • makeup

  • Face cream

  • Makeup remover wipes

  • Body wipes/ hand wipes/ ass wipes :) - This is great if you are hiking, using porta potties, wiping your face on the plane, cleaning your hands etc. I like these or these

  • lotion

  • toothbrush

  • toothpaste

  • tweezers

  • nail clippers

  • q-tips

  • Chapstick

  • Tylenol

  • deodorant

  • Sunscreen

  • X-Large Ziplock for sink laundry

Clothes

  • light jacket - to help with AC. BRRRR

  • underware

  • something to sleep in

  • bras

  • socks

  • bathing suit

  • sweatshirt for hotel room

  • Sweat pants for hotel room

  • yoga pants

  • jeans or pants x2

  • Shorts X2

  • Skirt

  • sweater or zipped sweatshirt.

  • tanktops x5

  • t-shirts x5

  • Sneakers x1

  • Walking/ hiking sandals

  • Cute sandals (or decent shoes to wear to dinner)

  • Sundress x1 (or a nice button down if you prefer)

Winter (wear this on the plane)

  • Jacket

  • scarf

Extra shit

  • backpack

  • Sunglasses

  • purse

  • ziplocks

  • Baseball cap

  • Get cash 500.00

  • Sun shirt for the beach places

  • Travel towel

  • Almost forgot: Tide Liquid Travel Sink Packets!
